In my last blog post (Get Ripped Like Dre) I shared info on a program that would give you the same results as the Dr Dre workout.
Today I am going to give more workout and diet tips that will help you burn fat and pack on pure shredded muscle like Dre. The tips and secrets included in this post make up the Dr Dre workout and Diet.
The Dr Dre Workout and Diet is NOT the same workout routine and diet Dre used to get so ripped. I do love his music, but I’ve definitely never seen his kitchen or watched this guy in the gym. And I’m sure the other guys that claim to know his exact routine HAVEN’T either
.
The Dr Dre workout and diet actually is a mix of nutrition and fitness tips that will give you a muscular physique like the man above. Let’s keep going…
Dr Dre Workout
Step 1 of the Dr Dre Workout and Diet…the workout.
Squats - Stand up tall, spread your feet out until they are shoulder-width apart, lower your body as far as you can by bending only your knees. Pause and then push yourself back up to the starting position.
Pull Ups - Grab the pull up bar (hands facing forward) and pull your chest up to the bar, then lower your body back down, repeat.
Bicep Curls - Make sure your hands are shoulder-width apart. Bend at the elbows to curl the bar up to your shoulders. Pause and then lower the bar all the way back down.
Triceps Pushdowns - Grip the bar (high pulley cable) and push until your arms are extended straight down with the bar almost at your thighs. Make sure to not lock your elbows.
Dips - Go down until your elbows reach 90 degrees and then go back up.
Bench Press - Classic barbell bench press. Don’t lockout at the top.
Sets And Reps
Do 10-15 reps of each and do the exercises one after the other with as little rest as possible. Doing all these exercises counts as one set. Try and complete 2-4 sets. This workout can be followed for about 4-6 weeks and can be done 3-4 times per week depending on your personal level of conditioning.
This workout will definitely keep your heart rate sky-high and build muscle at the same time.
Dr Dre Diet Tips
Along with the Dr Dre Workout, you should follow these diet tips below…
- Avoid unhealthy meats such as sausage and pepperoni and choose to eat chicken breasts instead.
- Stay far, far, FAR away from soft drinks and sugary juices.
